From Lolita to Dolly & Cult Party

Lately I've been a bit burned out on lolita fashion (which kinda sucks)
but I've really suddenly gotten into Dolly kei.

It's really easy to do, and it's not even that expensive. Plus I feel like it's
so much more versatile than lolita fashion is allowed to be.
There's not even real guidelines to the style.

Here's some pictures for you to get a taste of what it looks like if your
not informed of it!

It's has a very vintage dolly feel. Plus you can find all these kinds of dresses
at your local thrift store/vintage store

A lot of the dresses have very tapestry-esque prints.

I especially love the hair cuts, and accessories of this fashion too!
The bangs are all bendy and adorable!

Many odd and mysterious accessories. Lots of religious stuff and doll body parts lol.
I'm definately still a lolita, but I really would love to incorporate this fashion into
my everyday fashion, which I wouldn't really do with lolita.

aaand now! Outfit of the day!

I tried for the first time ever making a swing at dolly kei.

Gidget's totally photobombing me lol.
I've never worn so much blush in my whole life!
but I actually really loved the turn out!!

I really would love to buy some very cool patterned tights.
I just gotta start building up a collection!

Have you ever tried dolly kei? What's your opinion on it?
If you have a dolly kei blog/tumblr, feel free to comment
and I'll most likely follow you!

Thanks guys!
